About the Summer Party...

CHANGE OF VENUE

This years Smallfield Summer Party will be on Saturday 9th June 2012 Gates open at 2pm until 10.30pm The Party will be held at CENTENARY HALLS, WHEELERS LANE, SMALLFIELD and we will be charging admission price of one pound per adult and children under 3 will be free. There will be free rides on the inflatables all day up to 7pm, the last hour being adults only and there will be the usual great acts and shows as last year! Evening Entertainment will be provided by two local bands - Legend (formerly OXB) and Undercover (formerly Fallen Angel)both of which are brilliant! What is happening this year...

This will be the Sixth Smallfield Summer Party and has proved to be a great success in previous years. This non profit making event is run by members of our community with help from the Parish Council, and many hours of hard work are put in to make this THE Party of the year! We decided to keep it on the same day, so you can have the best of both worlds - the Jubilee and our party!! This year we are changing the layout of the site so that access to the stalls - the fete section of our day- is improved. We have, as usual, the free inflatable games, the circus workshop and Punch and Judy along with arena events including Whitesides School of Dance, a fantastic gym display and our circus act! Disco Dave is with us again this year, so the entertainment should be up to, if not past the standard of previous years!

Our Tea Tent, full of delicious home-made cakes, is a mainstay of the day and we also have a Hog Roast, All Time Catering Van and our local Pizza Tent. The Jolly Bar will be providing liquid refreshments and of course there will be ice cream available.

This year we are having a fancy Dress competition - the theme being the Olympics - so give it a go!

As stated before we have two excellent local bands and they will provide fantastic, get up and dance music that will entertain you into the evening.
