About the Summer Party...

This years Smallfield Summer Party will be on Saturday 13th June 2009. We have changed the format this year and will be starting at 2pm and going straight through to 9.30pm. The Party will be held at Burstow Primary School's playing field on Redehall Road and we will be charging admission of £1 per adult and 50p for children under 10. There will be free rides on the inflatables all day up to 8pm and there will be the usual great acts and shows as last year! We would like to thank our Sponsors areH2O Developments (Southern) Ltd, Norman Group, Carter Thorne and Woodlands Garage.

What is happening this year...

There will be five inflatable games this year which include a mega slide, bouncy castle, gladiators and a 100ft obstacle course - free to all! please see the photo gallery for examples of two. Punch and Judy is back again Circus workshop also there again Refreshment and food will be plentiful with the fantastic Cake Tent, ice cream van and along with the usual burgers and hog roast there will also be curry! The beer tent is being run by the Jolly Farmer, Horne and there will be teas, coffee and soft drinks aplenty. There will be entertainment from local clubs which will run throughout the day and the evening culminating with a very talented 9 piece Funk band, the Blunter Bros., which include 3 horn players and a 4 piece rhythm section - that should get everyone dancing! There will be stalls and traditional games such as coconut shy and welly throwing - we might even have bale lifting again! Please come along - it will be a fantastic day out for all the family, with your neighbours, so help us create another great atmosphere!
